She recently graduated the Manual Osteopath diploma course through National Manual Osteopathic College. This modality works with the body as a whole and promotes its natural ability to heal itself through trying to restore structure and function. Nolan Griffin – RMT
Upon graduating from Mount Royal University’s massage therapy program in 2008, Nolan set out to build his practice in his home town of Calgary. Nolan’s desire for a deeper understanding of the human body and it’s functions have driven his passion to learn and practice a wide array of massage techniques and disciplines.
While being adept in relaxation techniques such as hot stone, Thai herbal compress, rain drop therapy and others, Nolan has become one of Calgary’s best deep tissue and sports massage therapists. His ability to work deep and break up adhesions and scar tissue while helping to release chronic patterning from poor posture, repetitive injuries and strains has made him a favorite amongst clients seeking a true deep therapeutic massage experience.
From a young age Nolan’s passion for sports and the outdoors have shaped and fueled his desires to lead a healthy and active lifestyle. A background in competitive soccer, football and resistance training have helped to build his understanding of the physical demands of athletics and competitive sports. This knowledge has lead Nolan to work with athletes from the NCAA, CFL, NHL and Olympians just to name a few. While born in the city, Nolan’s true passion for nature and the outdoors inevitably lead him to the mountains. When he’s not massaging or playing soccer, Nolan can be found scrambling the high peaks of the Rockies, backpacking or skiing in search of fresh lines and deep powder stashes.
